One sunny day, a young crab was walking on the sand.
He moved sideways, left and right.
He moved sideways, left and right.
His mother watched him and said,
“My dear, why don’t you walk straight forward?
It looks so funny when you walk sideways.”
“My dear, why don’t you walk straight forward?
It looks so funny when you walk sideways.”
The little crab looked at his mother and said,
“But Mama, I don’t know how to walk straight.
Please show me how!”
“But Mama, I don’t know how to walk straight.
Please show me how!”
The mother crab tried to walk forward.
But she also moved sideways, just like her child!
But she also moved sideways, just like her child!
The young crab laughed and said,
“See, Mama! You walk the same way as me!”
“See, Mama! You walk the same way as me!”
The mother crab felt shy and smiled.
She understood that she should not tell her child to do something
that she herself could not do.
She understood that she should not tell her child to do something
that she herself could not do.
