One day, a hungry wolf was walking in the field.
He saw many sheep eating grass.
The wolf wanted to eat them.

But the shepherd and the dogs were watching.
The wolf could not go near.

Then the wolf saw a sheep’s skin lying on the ground.
“Ha ha!” said the wolf.
“If I wear this skin, everyone will think I am a sheep!”

The wolf put the sheep’s skin on his back.
Now he looked just like a big, fluffy sheep.

He walked into the flock.
The sheep thought he was one of them.
The shepherd did not notice him.

But soon, the shepherd needed a sheep for dinner.
He caught the wolf (who looked like a sheep) and took him away!

When the shepherd found out it was a wolf,
the wolf was already caught.
The trick had failed.

Moral of the Story

If you try to fool others, you may get trapped yourself.
